Peer Community is a space for peers, neighbors, and community members to connect through shared humanity and mutual respect. It is not limited to formal peer support roles. Peers share lived experience and connection, neighbors build relationships and local care, and community members include allies, advocates, and supporters who value inclusion and collaboration. Peer support is a separate, more structured role that involves training and specific responsibilities. Peer Community is about belonging, connection, and shared growth.
Licensed healthcare and behavioral health professionals who engage with the Peer Community ecosystem in a collaborative, professional capacity. This may include therapists, social workers, clinicians, and other licensed providers who support connection, referrals, education, consultation, or joint initiatives. They are distinct from peer and contractor roles, bringing clinical expertise while respecting lived-experience–centered spaces.
Peer support is a distinct and more specialized role involving trained individuals who provide structured guidance and support. While Peer Community welcomes everyone, formal peer support represents an additional level of training, responsibility, and practice.
Peer support practitioners who provide reflective guidance, mentorship, and accountability within the Peer Community. They support peers and peer coaches in strengthening practice, navigating challenges, and staying grounded in ethical, lived-experience–informed work.
The Wisdom Circle includes retired professionals, long-time practitioners, and individuals stepping back from active service who continue to hold valuable lived and professional experience. This space honors reflection, storytelling, and intergenerational wisdom-sharing. Participation is not role-based or performance-driven, but focused on presence, mentorship, and contributing insight to the Peer Community ecosystem in a way that is sustainable and self-directed.
Individuals who engage with the Peer Community ecosystem through formal agreements to provide services or project-based work. This may include peer support services, coaching, training, facilitation, consulting, speaking, or other contracted engagements. This space is designed for coordination, updates, and shared learning specific to contracted work within and alongside the Peer Community ecosystem.
